Programme Details	T he 2006 Summer Programme will be a language-based and activity-based childcare programme, rather than IST's regular Pre-School immersion programme, although participants will have every opportunity to acquire the group's language and to practise / develop any existing language skills.

Programme Options	Depending on actual enrolments, IST plans to offer the following:
	Children	3 – 5 years :	Chinese	Spanish	French
	Children	6 – 8 years	Chinese	Spanish	French

Registration	$50 per student (waived if the student is already registered as an IST student)

Minimum Enrolment	Two weeks

Pre-Enrolment	From 1 March - 25 April

Programme Fees	Full-time	First two weeks	$250
		Thereafter per week	$100
	Half-time	First two weeks	$150
		Thereafter per week	$60
	Part-time	First two weeks	$140 (one day / week); $170 (two days / week); $200 (three days / week); $230 (four days / week)
		Thereafter per week	$50 (one day / week); $65 (two days / week) $80 (three days / week); $90 (four days / week)
	Please note : the Part-time option is only available for the 3 – 5 year-old groups.

	Programme Fees include Snacks and all programme materials, but they do not include Lunch. IST does not provide a meal service and where we are required to serve a meal to a child, parents will be charged at the rate of $5.00 per meal.

Preferences	Places will be offered to those students who have pre-enrolled in the following order of preference :
	- Full-time for eight weeks; thereafter, full-time for seven weeks, six weeks, five weeks, four weeks, three weeks
	- Half-time (ie five days per week) Afternoon Session - as for Full-time
	- Half-time (ie five days per week) Morning Session - as for Full-time
	- Part-time (full-day only; one, two, three or four days per week)

Confirmations	Places will be offered from Monday 25 April to those who have pre-enrolled, full-time . To accept the place, a non-refundable Deposit of $250 (the minimum Programme Fee) must be paid by 12.00pm Sunday 1 May. From Monday 2 May, places will then be offered to those who did not pre-enrol on a first-come first-served basis.

	Places will be offered from Monday 25 April to those who have pre-enrolled, half-time . To accept the place, a non-refundable Deposit of $150 (minimum Programme Fee) must be paid by 12.00pm Sunday 1 May. From Monday 2 May, places will then be offered to those who did not pre-enrol on a first-come first-served basis.
	Places will be offered from Monday 2 May to those who have pre-enrolled, part-time , and then also to those who did not pre-enrol on a first-come first-served basis. To accept the place, a non-refundable Deposit equal to the minimum Programme Fee must be paid.

Insufficient Enrolments	Where minimum numbers to open a group are not reached, IST may alter the above age groupings, or combine age groupings or even cancel the programme.

Before / After Session Care	Supervision for your child(ren) before and after the Sessions is available on a casual basis, however we would ask that where possible you advise us beforehand if you wish to take advantage of this. The School will be open from 7.00am for the Morning Session and any child arriving before 8.15am will be placed in Before-Session Care. Similarly, any child enrolled as a Half-time (Afternoon Session) student arriving before 12.15pm will be placed in Before-Session Care. In this instance, a Fee will be due.
	Any child enrolled as a Half-time (Morning Session) student who is not collected by 11.45am will be placed in After-Session Care; similarly, any child not collected by 3.45pm will be placed in After-Session Care. In this instance, a Fee will be due.
	Please note that all children must be signed in and signed out, and that any child dropped off before 7.00 am or not collected after 6.30pm will be referred to CPS.

Care Fees - AM	Before-Session Care (7.00 - 8.15am) $2.00 per occasion
	Any student dropped off before 8.15am will be charged for Before-Session Care
	After-Session Care (11.15am - 12.30pm) $2.00 per occasion
	Any Half-time (Morning Session) student not collected by 11.15am will be charged for After-Session Care
	After-Session Care (12.30 - 3.30pm)
	Any Half-time (Morning Session) student not collected by 12.30pm may be placed with an Afternoon Session group, and will be charged at the rate of $5 per half-hour.

Care Fees - PM	Before-Session Care (11.30am - 12.15pm) $2.00 per occasion
	Any Half-time (Afternoon Session) student dropped off before 12.15pm will be charged for Before-Session Care
	After-Session Care (3.45 - 5.00pm) $4.00 per occasion
	Any student not collected by 3.45pm will be charged for After-Session Care
	After-Session Care (3.45 - 6.00pm) $5.00 per occasion
	Any student not collected by 6.00pm will be charged at the rate of $5 per 5 minutes; any student not collected by 6.30pm will be referred to CPS

Uniform	The IST Summer Programme uniform must be worn : IST Summer Programme or regular uniform t-shirt, IST shorts, IST sun-hat, plain white socks, plain non-marking white sneakers, IST sweatshirt and sweatpants (both optional). Uniform items may be purchased through the School website.

Payment	All Programme Fees must be paid in full by 12.00pm of the Friday before the relevant week, thus Programme fees for Week Three would be due by 12.00pm Friday 17 June. Other Fees are due on invoice, usually each Friday.

Late Payments	If a payment is not made on time, the place may be offered to another child. Any late payments are accepted at the discretion of the Head of School, and are subject to a $10 "Late Fee".

Payment Methods	Payments should be made by cheque only, payable to “International School of Tucson”. Any cheques returned unpaid for whatever reason will incur a $25 “Returned Cheque Fee” and the amount of the cheque plus this fee shall become immediately payable in cash.
