Extended Care

Extended Care is offered before the School Day (7.00am – 8.15am) and after the School Day (3.45 – 6.00pm). The Extended Care program is essentially an opportunity for supervised play and no instruction is offered. The two sessions are broken into three periods, and parents may choose to use the Extended Care program either on a regular or a casual basis.

Although the School opens at 7.00am, the School day begins at 8.25am with Assembly. No supervision other than the Extended Care program is available prior to 8.15am; any student at school before 8.15am will be placed in the Before School program and his/her parents will be charged.

The School day ends at 3.30pm, and no supervision other than the Extended Care program is available after 3.45pm. Any student who has not been collected by his/her parent by 3.45pm will be placed in the After School program and his/her parents will be charged. Any student not collected by 6.00pm may be referred to the authorities under laws relating to abandonment.

Regular Use of the Extended Care Programme

Mornings	7.00am – 8.15am	$35 per calendar month

Afternoons	3.45 – 5.00pm	$70 per calendar month
		$300 per semester
		$600 per academic year
	3.45 – 6.00pm	$88 per calendar month
		$375 per semester
		$750 per academic year
Penalty for children not collected by 6.00pm $5 per 5-minute period

Casual Use of the Extended Care Programme

Mornings	7.00am – 8.15am	$2 per occasion
Afternoons	3.45 – 5.00pm	$4 per occasion
	3.45 – 6.00pm	$5 per occasion
Penalty for children not collected by 6.00pm $5 per 5-minute period

Please ask at the School Office for the Extended Care form to sign up your child(ren).
